Ruth Hreinsdottir

Chief Financial Officer

Ruth is a great CFO, very analytical and efficient. She maintains a tight hold on the purse strings. She is all about the numbers and has no time for your pie in the sky ideas if you can't back them up with some financial analysis. Ruth keeps us all grounded and makes sure the company maintains a solid reputation for sound financial practices. We may have made her sound a bit stern, but in reality Ruth is a lot of fun - as long as you don´t mess with the finances.

Ruth joined Industria from international road contractor firm Colas (Colas Iceland), where she served as CFO. The Colas group is a leader in road construction world-wide, operating in over 40 countries on five continents.

Prior to Colas, she served as specialist with Eimskip innovating new finance system for the accountancy department. Eimskip is a supplier of transportation and logistic services operating in over 15 countries.

Ruth holds a B.Sc in Business Administration and has a background in business consultancy from Iceland and Denmark.
