One of the principal founders of Industria and a specialist in fibre-optic networks and digital services and solutions, Chief Executive Officer Erling Freyr Gudmundsson has worked in fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) project management since 1999.
A highly experienced operator in the broadband sector and key member ofthe Industria team, Gudmundsson began his career as CEO of electrical, electronic, and telecommunications systems specialist Ljosvirki which has worked on projects ranging from power-intensive aluminium smelter installations to commercial and privately operated fibre-optic telecommunications networks.
In the course of his career, Gudmundsson has played a leading role in the design of a series of groundbreaking solutions in broadband development. An electrician by trade, he also holds several qualifications in business studies and management, specialising in the implementation and marketing and of fibre-optic networks.
