One of Ireland's most experienced telecoms project technical directors, with over 25 years in the business, telecommunications engineer Frank Flanagan joined Industria from EAP Consulting, where he served as Technical Director.
During his time with EAP, he served as a consultant on several Irish Government Broadband projects, among them the design and implementationof fibre networks at several of the country's major network builds, including Galway, Sligo, Limerick, Cork and Meath.
A specialist in the technical specifications of fibre networks, transmission equipment and civil specifications relating to various types of network building, his experience before joining EAP included ten years as Group Technical Director at Ashbourne Communications, where he was responsible for the design and roll out of all the companies numerous network building projects throughout the UK, Ireland, Europe, Middle Eastand Far East.
Following that, he was responsible for building more than 3,000 kilometers of fibre network in France and Germany for European telecomoperator Viatel. Frank brings to the company a wealth of experience in the field of telecoms planning, design and network building.
